Following a 23 year career in the Royal Navy including the Submarine Service and welfare/counselling services, then a short and enjoyable spell as a Consultant at the Scottish Executive, Kenneth went on to be a highly successful Career and Outplacement Consultant with a leading global career consultancy. Specifically working with members of the armed forces preparing to enter civilian employment, he was selected to become one of the company’s first Staff Competency Assessors, ensuring the highest consultancy standards were met. He has worked successfully with people in career transition from all professional levels from frontline to senior executive/director level.
Industry Knowledge
Kenneth’s work as a Career Consultant has included significant exposure to, and liaison with, a wide range of industries from engineering through to IT and Consulting, ensuring first hand and up to date intelligence on exactly what employers in various sectors are looking for when being approached by job-hunters.

Kenneth has a reputation for ethical and committed professionalism with clients and continues this into his private career consultancy. Further, he is committed to developing streamlined and innovative ways of communicating with clients via the internet and social networking sites, as well as face-to-face – all options considered!

An Honours Graduate in Psychology with an NVQ 4 in Advice and Guidance and membership of CIPD, Kenneth is a highly experienced and exacting CV, Career and Outplacement Consultant.
Other Stuff
Kenneth lives at home in Fife with his wife Diane and three demanding and completely unruly cats. His hobbies include writing (poetry, speeches, scripts and anything involving words!), acting, film-making and directing. He is an accomplished singer, a ropey guitarist and an utterly incompetent pianist!
